Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Engineer to join our service team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional service, ensuring quick resolution of customer issues, and setting new benchmarks in service excellence. This role demands both technical expertise (electrical and mechanical) and a strong commitment to building long-term customer relationships.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Delivering legendary service by attending to all service calls within the shortest possible time, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.
- Resolving customer issues proactively, preparing daily problem-solving summaries, and sharing critical issues and learnings with peers to drive continuous improvement.
- Performing machine installation and commissioning on time while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Providing both electrical and mechanical support to customers with accuracy and efficiency.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships, acting as the go-to person for their service needs while fostering trust and reliability.
- Collaborating with team members and management through open communication to share insights, align on priorities, and strengthen overall service performance.
- Promoting a positive work environment by encouraging teamwork, collaboration, and mutual respect across the service department.
- Arranging and sourcing required spare parts, whether under warranty or out of warranty, to ensure timely resolution of customer concerns.
- Adapting to changing customer and market needs, consistently going beyond expectations to deliver outstanding results.
- Ensuring complete customer satisfaction by treating every customer’s challenge as a personal responsibility and relentlessly pursuing solutions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in service engineering, preferably in CNC machines, industrial machinery, or related sectors.
- Strong technical expertise in both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Proven experience in machine installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and customer relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple service calls, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.
- Flexible, adaptive, and passionate about continuous learning.
